Terms of service

These terms apply when you use toolbrace.com ("ToolBrace", "we"). By creating an account or buying anything, you agree to them.

1. Who can use ToolBrace

You must be at least 16 years old. To buy a plan or a sponsorship you must be an adult where you live, or have your parent's or guardian's permission.

2. Your account

You sign in with a link we email you. Keep access to your email secure. One account per person.

3. Your entries

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You give ToolBrace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, judge, rank and share your entries and their recipes on ToolBrace and in our marketing (for example results pages, the Tool Index and social posts), with credit to your handle. You confirm that you have the rights to your entry, including the right to use the output of the tools you used, and that it follows the rules. If you delete your account, we stop showing your entries.

4. Ratings and results

Ratings and places come from player votes and the method described in How it works. We may correct results, remove votes or entries, or reset ratings to deal with errors, abuse or cheating.

5. Paid plans

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which charges you, handles tax and issues your invoice. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel any time in Settings and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change for future periods with notice. Unless the law where you live requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, but write to us if something went wrong and we'll be fair.

6. Sponsors and prizes

Sponsored weeks are paid in advance and confirmed by email. Sponsors are responsible for the prizes they offer; we pass prize codes to winners. We may refuse or cancel a sponsorship (with a refund) if it doesn't fit ToolBrace. Briefs always remain fair to every tool.

7. Hiring

Talent Pass holders may contact players who opted in to hiring. Using contact details for spam or anything other than genuine work offers ends your pass without refund.

8. What we're not responsible for

ToolBrace is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running and fair, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Ending

You can delete your account any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the rules.
